Costa Luz

The
province of Cádiz is very Spanish and has not yet been 'taken over' by
ex-pats. You will find here a great mix of historic and new, with the
modern (cities such as Jerez, Cadiz and Algeciras) and the old, (the
'pueblos blancos' - small white villages dotted across the hillside)
blending together nicely.
The province of Málaga is also very special, having some of the best
residences and building developments in Spain. Although with far more
British than Cadiz, still exclusive and appealing to the discerning
buyer.

Unlike most other

Coastal areas like Chipiona, Rota and El Puerto de Santa María (just
north of Cadiz on the map) – an area which covers the Costa Ballena
(with it’s top golf course), and which has miles of virgin sands.
Chiclana de la Frontera (just south of Cadiz), also golf and beach
country, which is bursting with bungalow-style chalets, all in their
own walled gardens.
Inland areas such as Arcos de la Frontera, one of the famous 'pueblos
blancos' with it's traditionally Spanish interior homes, on down to
Ubrique nestling beneath the vast mountains of the Cadiz Sierra.

Last but not least, the coastal area from Marbella to Estepona with
it's unique but classy cosmopolitan style.
The Costa del Sol is well known as the
‘Costa del Golf’ and this 'handle' is now spreading to the Costa de la
Luz as there are over
20 golf courses
all within easy reach of the airport in Jerez, which is just 30
minutes drive from the coast. |
